Chestnut Post & Rail Fencing

All of our post and rail fencing is hand cut and crafted just like it has been done for years. Chestnut is a very strong, long lasting type of fencing, which is easy on the eye. All our post and rail is split, which is better than sawn timber as it does not allow water to get into the wood and therefore lasts a lot longer.

Chestnut Stock Fencing

The best way to keep stock in or just a nice finishing touch to your garden. Chestnut fencing is a very strong, long lasting and cost effective way of fencing. All of our frencing is cut ourselves from sustainable woodlands. We can cut to order if you have unusual sizing requirements. We can also supply and erect if you require.

All of our chestnut posts are hand graded for quality and come with the bark on or off. You can choose to have full round or halves or quatrers which are all hand split to stop the wet getting into them and rotting. All of our posts come in a variety of lengths and diameters. Get in touch.

Chestnut Straining Posts

All of our straining posts are of a very high grade. We can supply from 5inch up to 8inch and in a variety of lengths. All of our posts are hand graded and hand painted. Therefore our quality stays the same. You can choose to have the bark on or off the posts.

Gate Posts

We can supply you with round or sawn gate posts. These are very big and heavy duty that can go up to 10inch in diameter and we can cut sawn posts to any size you want. Sawn Chestnut and Oak gate posts will be cut to order – Contact us for prices

All of our products are cut by us and made by hand. All of our wood is cut from sustainable woodlands that have been coppiced for many years. The wood is cut for small holders, large scale farmers right up to big estates to keep their woodlands in rotation
